Lately, I’ve been thinking about getting something meaningful to represent my journey through an eating disorder. I’ve heard there are specific symbols for eating disorder recovery, like the lotus flower, the NEDA symbol, or even simple things like butterflies or semicolons.

I’m curious have any of you used a symbol for an eating disorder (tattoo, jewelry, art, etc.) that helped you feel stronger or reminded you of how far you’ve come? I’d love to hear what symbol you chose and why it resonated with you.
