Amaron date codes decoded yet? Saw a 2025 manufactured unit today and honestly didn’t know they were that fresh
I was helping my brother get a new battery for his Accord this morning and the installer showed up with a unit that had a January 2025 manufacturing date on it, which honestly took me by surprise because I’ve always assumed most batteries sitting around in Dubai warehouses were at least six months old or more. My brother ordered it through https://amaroncarbattery.ae/ the night before and the whole thing went so smoothly that I’m now side eyeing my own battery which is nearing the two year mark and probably needs a load test just for my own peace of mind. The installer was a chatty guy and he mentioned they move through stock pretty quickly so old inventory isn’t really a problem, which kind of lines up with what I saw on the date stamp but I’m still naturally suspicious of anything that goes too smoothly in this city. Anyone else noticed how fresh their batch was when they ordered from there or did my brother just get lucky with timing? Either way it’s making me rethink my usual habit of putting off battery replacements until I’m stranded somewhere vaguely regretting my life choices.
