Hi everyone, I need advice from the community about choosing the best laptop hard drive. I use my laptop for small business work, inventory files, billing software, product sheets, and barcode printers. Recently, my laptop has become slow, especially when opening large Excel files and sending multiple label print jobs. I am thinking about upgrading the hard drive, but I am confused between SSD and HDD. I want better speed, smooth performance, and reliable storage. I do not use heavy gaming or video editing software, but I need the laptop to work fast when managing stock and printing labels. Would a 512GB SSD be enough for this type of work, or should I go with a 1TB SSD? Also, does NVMe make a big difference compared to SATA SSD for normal business tasks? Please share your suggestions, especially if you use laptops with barcode printers for inventory or office work.
