I know this is going to sound like a midlife crisis talking, but I’ve been saving up for a 2019 Charger Hellcat for the past two years and finally found one that’s not crazy overpriced. It’s got around 65k kilometers, which isn’t too bad, but I’m fully aware that these supercharged V8s get thrashed more often than a rental sedan. The seller sent me some service records but they look a bit incomplete, and I’m worried about common issues like the supercharger bearings, the ZF transmission valve body, and whether the previous owner actually let the oil warm up before flooring it everywhere. I was browsing around trying to find what a thorough inspection actually includes for these cars, so I clicked to view details on a site that specializes in American muscle. They mention checking for things like heat soak damage, drivetrain mounts, and even the condition of the limited slip differential which I honestly wouldn’t have thought about. Has anyone here had one of these high horsepower Dodge cars inspected by a third party before buying? I’m trying to figure out if it’s worth the extra money or if I should just take it to the dealer and pray. The car is in Umm Ramool and the guy seems decent but you never really know until something breaks, right? Any Hellcat owners in Dubai or Sharjah who’ve been through this, please share your wisdom because I really don’t want to buy a nightmare.
